Yellow tang throwing up

Hi guys I've had my yellow tang for about 3yrs and this has been the first time I've seen my tang throwing up. I feed him some green algae strip like about 1hr ago. And right now he was throwing up like crazy! All the strips were comin out in pieces and now he is breathing heavy he didn't even try to eat the algae that was swimming around is my tang ok?

That's an unusual reaction for a fish Lester.
Were the algae strips longer than he usually eats? Did he gobble them up very quickly?

What is he doing now?

From time to time my fish choke because they eat too much. Monitor him closely and soften up the food and make it smaller.

Yea kathy he was eating really fast i guess he didn't give his body time to digest. He's greddy!

as long as the fish is consuming food, it'll be okay, maybe it went down the wrong tube.

I must say jadakiss you gottsa love this hobby something new all the time. Maby it is regertating its food, food could be bad. Maby time for a change in teh dite of the tang.
