baby hippo tang feeding suggestions

My blue tang looks skinny, just picked up three days ago not eating.... suggestions

It should be eating everything and anything. Try fresh food, once you get him eating it should be very easy to get him on flake or pellets. I just got a new one a week ago, took him 2 days to get eating without beeing spooked when i came to the tank. Im feeding rods food to the tank, and he usually goes for the shrimp pieces and mysis first.

I have algae strips. Should I put some of those in for mine?

Yes! When I got mine he was about .5", he is now upwards of 3".

I just fed my normal food which consist of frozen mysis, rod's food, cyclopeeze, formula 1 & 2(alternate days), and algea sheets every other day.
