Ok i got a tank raised perc clown about a week ago from petco. It doesnt eat well so i was spot feeding it and noticed some white spots on the edges of its fins and up on the head. I think its ich but not sure. My tank is a 29 reef. just looking for some advice. I read some articles and still not sure.
My plan now is to remove the fish and put it in a 5 gallon bucket with an airstone. Then treat in the bucket, either copper or hypo, But what about the rest of my fish, does the tank need to be treated. Do i need to treat all my fish. *** they say saltwater is harder. Ok time to move the clown into a clean bucket, atleast i have some water already made.
I didnt QT this fish, I wish i had.
I figure the right thing to do first was seperate it and wait for a little advice.
I did notice the green chromis inspecting the clown a few times.
I think im leaning toward using meds like copper, is there any brand to use or stay away from.
