Need help with fish selection

I have a 175 FOLWER tank with 5 fish. A mated pair of g.s maroon clowns, a 4 inch volitan lion, a lunare wrasse about 6-7 inch and a 6-7 inch blue face angel. I have had the wrasse 4 years and I got him when he was about 2 inches. I also had the blue face angel for about 4 years and had him when he was only 2 inches, he changed from a juv. to adult in my tank. I used to have a 4 inch porcupine puffer and a 5-6 inch blue throat trigger. They were in the tank for about 4-5 months before the blue face literally scared the trigger to death and the wrasse attacked the puffer and the bite pierced the skin and literally made a hole in the puffer and killed him. Since I have had the wrasse and angel for so long they became the kings of the tank. For some reason they haven't killed the other 3 fish but do bother them most of the time. Every other time I do water changes on the tank I rearrange all of my live rock( I have about 275 lbs.). I want to add like 2 more fish but I don't know what to try. I am also very open to suggestions on how to keep them and the others from being bothered/attacked from the angel and the wrasse.

You can try a naso tang or some other tang and that should be it that's enough fish in M.O.The lion fish gona be 6 inches in no time, the clowns are gona be in danger of being eaten good luck.

You don't even know the size of the maroon clowns.... You do know they get big and tend to be very territorial and nasty. It is an unlikely candidate for the lion fishes next meal.

Can you tell me the size then ? I said 6 inches in no time and which one do you think will grow faster the clowns or the lionfish i wasn't looking for a smart comment i'm just trying to help the guy because i'v owed over 12 lionfish in the past my favorite fish by the way.If you are helping the guy just help the guy OK.

Sound like you have a ruff crowed. I would consider adding a nice eel maybe try another trigger but one that is a little more aggressive compared to the blue throat(docile trigger) maybe something like a Blue lined trigger, clown trigger, or undulated trigger ect. You also might have luck adding a Acanthurus tang or Zebramosa tang. If you liked the puffer you might consider trying another one.

When you add your next fish try keeping the lights out or just your LEDs if you have them on your light fixture for a day or 2 seems to help me when adding new fish

Very impressive but you forgot to post about the lionfish ...so i see where this is going another genius if you what to get something off your chest put it on my pm thank you.Oh i forgot about the female clown 6'' haww.

Regardless how aggressive the fish is, or may become, if a Lion fish think it can eat a fish it will. So if the Lion keeps growing, which it will grow faster and larger than the clown, there is a good chance that at some point it will try and eat it.

Many people have kept Damsels with Lion fish for quite sometime, only to find one day that the Damsel is gone and the Lion fish fatter.

By the way some Maroon Clown get closer to 12" than 6".

Undulated triggers are very aggressive and care needs to be taken when placing one in your tank. They'll should only be kept with very aggressive and large fish. Even the small ones are usually very aggressive and can and do causes problems. The actually do good in tanks by themselves.

I never said it couldn't happen I said it was unlikely depending size due to the nature of the fish.
