Emperor angel needs help

My emperor angel is rubbing his gill plate on whatever he can find in the tank for about a month and it's getting worse i have to do something fast.Do you know of some where i can take him for a check up or are there other alternatives.Thanks for your help.

Maybe he has some kind of parasite? Have you tried QTing it?

Rubbing against objects in the tank can be a symptom of ick. Does the fish have any tiny white spots on its fins or body?

I tryed fresh water dip for 20 min. no use he's hitting his head against the glass can ick get inside the gills of the fish? Thanks for your help.

sounds like a gill fluke or worm, and perhaps a bad case of ich, but that fish needs a good QT system to get rid of his ailments.

What sized tank is he in and what size is the fish?

He is about 5 inches in a 110 gal tank not ick in this case but how do i know for sure if its fluke or worms and what can i do if it is?Thanks.

The Emperor Angel has made a full recovery without any Rx... i made a 70% water change and ran a 30 watt sterilizer on my 110 gal with about 30 gals less water to make the sterilizer more effective.I noticed improvement in about 2- 3 days.
