Concern over BlueSpot Jawfish

Hi,
My Jawfish` body seems all scraped up. Some of it may just be substrate.
Is this just natural from the constant digging?---or do I have a problem?
Can this result from the fish over-working because there is not enough of a variety of substrate and rubble sizes?

Is he still eating? Do the scratches look superficial or is there some depth to them? Does anyone else in the tank look like they may be harassing the Jaw? BTW I fragged up the red Bowerbanki let me know if you want one I'll hold it for you.

thanks for the reply.

The tank is clear again, the koko worms are out, I just lost som SPS.

As for the Jaw---theres no Harrassment, and he is eating. I`m wondering if enough food gets down to him after all the fast wrasses above him in the waterstream have had their fill.

How much are the Banki frags?

You could try to feed him the occasional live guppy or something since he can take it down easily and the other fish won't have as easy a time with it to make sure he is getting food. I was just going to ask you how the tank turned out, I'm glad it's ok again. I won't stone you publicly, just don't do that again lol. As for the frags you'll just have to stop by :sgrin:. 3 polyps for a good price, you'll like it.

if you have slow sinking pallets like thera-A, the jaw fish can pick up some. they are fast too when they want too. my jawfish, firefish and wrasse always kisses each other when rushing for the food.
