I have a yellow coris wrasse, approx. 3"-4".
Today I noticed spots on his head/face. There is one on each side(almost identical to each other). The spots are just behind the eyes, and appear to be black when looking from the front. But they also appear to be reflective yellow(two-tone / yellow&green) from other angles. I have seen these spots before, but they were never black. All yellow coris' have them, but they blend in with the normal coloring of the fish, now they stick out b/c of the black.
Anyone know what this is?
My only thought is that, it could be becoming a dominant male, but Im not sure if the coris does that.
Thanks in advance,
Rook
