Yellow Belly Damsel

My yellow belly damsels are spawing again [caerulean damsel]under a rock the male is careing for the eggs and he is nipping on most of the near by corals he is mostly intersted in my green star pulyps and my colt coral any ideas why he is doing this.Your help will be appreciated thanks.
