hello, i am trying to get my 3" six line wrasse out of my tank, with out taking out all of the rocks and corals, is there any other way to do this? i know it will be hard to catch him tho...:splitspin:irked:
put some food they like in a clear bottle(just large enough for the fish to enter) like a empty Miller beer bottle have a length of fishing line around the neck of the bottle. sink the bottle lying flat and sooner than later you may get lucky and they will swim into the bottle and you can pull them out
I hold a piece of krill at the top, and quickly net the fish when it goes to eat...try not feeding all day or for two, then dangle the krill, w/ the net partly in the water, and scoop him when he goes for a bite
I've never use that trap (couldn't find the one Phil lends me)... but a trap is a trap... put it in the tank for a few days (so the fish get use to it) then don't feed for a day or two.... that should do it.
