I have a 2" sixline in my 90. He's been there for about a year. Im thinking about getting a Mystery Wrasse.

Ive read about lined wrasses not getting along, but I want to add a 3-4" Mystery Wrasse to my tank.

I have neting up so they cant jump.

My questions:
1) What have been your exp with these two?
2) Have they attacked Cleaner Shrimp in your tank?

3 yrs ago, I added a 3" Mystery into a 120g that housed a 2" six-line. The six-line was in the tank for about 6 months.
The $15 six-line literally tore a chunk off the $120 Mstery which died over night.

Also, you will have a hard time finding a Mystery over 3".

An exquisite christmas wrasse(this link is not for the exquisite, just plan xmas...but you get the idea) I had an exquisite xmas wrasse and was one of the best fish I owned...very active, great personality, always doing some cool under water acrobatics...great fish

I hope this helps...I didnt look at your tank size, or specs, so you need to research which of the fish is compatible with your other fish

I have a sixline wrasse and so far he hasn't tried to jump or act aggressively or anything towards any of my other fish and verts.

Me either. I've had 2 six-lines over the years and both were fine with all my other fish, even though people warned me about them. The only thing he's ever been hostile toward were my shrimp. I didn't know he had a fondness for scampi until he ate my Harley. So, now I only put full grown cleaners or fire shrimp in with him. However, I never tried keeping a six-line with another wrasse so he could very well be a bastard with conspecifics.

six line wrasses are real jerks. I tried a christmass wrasse with one and it was and imediate regret. I tore apart the tank to get the six line. larger wrasses can eat crabs, shrimp, etc. the only real reef safe wrasses are the fairy wrasses.

Cut the top 1/3 off of a gatorade bottle and then invert it and place it in the other half of the bottle, make sure it's nice and snug. Place food in said bottle, place trap in tank with fishing line attached for easy removal, and wait. You can leave the trap overnight and hope your fish swims in but you can also watch to see if your fish swims in and pull him or her up.
