Dispar Anthias- I think he is fading away

I bought a Dispar Anthias about 5 weeks ago. It took about 2 weeks before he came out of the rocks. Even when he does come out he just circles around once and then he goes back into the rock. Even during feeding all he will do is go to the top at one spot and he seems to lunge at something and then he goes back down. I am not sure if he is getting any food. Even when I give freshly hatched brineshrimp he does not react. All my other fish go nuts for brineshrimp. I feed mysis, some kind of floating pellets that I got from Brineshrimp Direct and Cyclopeze every day and brineshrimp twice a week (newly hatched). I usually just feed in the morning. The last few days he has not come out at all so my guess is he is starving.
I looked in the Anthias thread and it seems there are problems feeding Anthias in general but many people have had success.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It doesn't sound good. 5 weeks is a long time for a fish to settle in. Is he being harassed by anything? Newly hatched brine shrimp are a little small for an Anthias. I find most Anthias go nuts for Reef Nutrition Arcti-pods. You can give them a try. Good luck.

Was going to say the same thing, Arctipods are my go to when trying to get a feeding response from anthias. They need to eat a few times a day and a couple squirts makes life easy.

Can I get arcti-pods locally or do I have to order them on line. Reed site did not indicate any local stores that carry it.

Arcti-Pods come from the Arctic hence the name so you cannot catch them locally. You can order them online from Reef Nutrition or go to any of our vendors. Most, if not all, carry it. Just make sure to call to see if it's in stock.
