Thanks for the info. I don't think I should do 2 because I may be already pushing my bioload.
Having two tangs is not as good idea unless added at same time even then problems do occur. I dont think adding one extra tang will make that much of difference on bio-load if tank is FOWLR/Reef.
Even when i used to use UGF w/ Canister/Dynaflo, Superking, etc. in FO, did not cause any noticeable increase in their bio-loads. I going back some 20 yrs.
Keeping the tank dark did not do any good when sun/room light is on unless completely dark so they are in sleeping mode for few days. .
Its your call since you know the system/tank better than anyone else but I just want to eliminate the possibility of existing tang continuously picking/harassing one new addition all the time which may lead to complications (stress related).
Good luck which ever path you may choose.
