I'm STILL working on setting up my 65G Tall (Oceanic Tech 70).
The 65 tall is like a really tall breeder, with the same footprint as a 30 or 40 gallon breeder.

So when some one states a fish needs at least 55-70G, does my tank suffice, or is it still in the smaller category du to its footprint?

Here's my list so far:
Flame Angel
Blue Spotted Jawfish
Blenny (one with a lot of personality)
Tang (thinking a Kole tang)
Wrasse (still deciding on this one)

Will these fish all get along? Are there better fish I should be looking for?
I really don't know a ton about fish yet. I've spent my last 2 years of reefing focusing on corals..

Will I have room for more fish or am I already planning too many?
Will they all fit long term or will they outgrow my tank?

As far as filtration, I have an octopus extreme 160 skimmer, carbon and phos reactors, and a 9w UV. My corals will be mostly zoas, shrooms, and lps.

I would like to plan things out and research this more. I would like fish that are pretty (think psychedelic colors), easy to keep (for a noob), and compatible.

Any advise is appreciated.

BTW: The Fish FAQ thread is a great!

The list, as is, sounds great. However, without knowing the species of blenny or wrasse you intend to get, it's impossible to say if they'll all be compatible. Consider a lawnmower blenny and any one wrasse from this group of genera (Halichoeres, cirrhilabrus, or paracheilinus)

Thanks for the response Dean. I was actually surfing your gallery and found pics of your 65G setup...

Lawnmower Blennys look awesome.

I'd love to find a Leopard Warrse as pretty as Simons (pic stolen from his tank log):

My girlfriend really likes the purple kole tangs. She also wants a yellow tang. It's rare that she puts any input into my reef hobby (except to complain about it cluttering our house).

Any reason to not get a kole? I've actually never seen one in person.

tangs need alot of room, and a 65 tall definitely cramps their swimming space. Its your tank and your choices. when I had a freshwater tank I had two 14 inch red bellied pacu, an 8 inch oscar, 8 inch wolf fish, and 8 inch royal clownknife in a 75!! I think a Kole Tang would work for at least a few years
