A couple of days ago i picked up a juvenile blue ring angel and a 3 inch powder blue tang. What can i do to try and get them to eat? I have tried mysis and some frozen homeade food but they wont touch it. The powder blue picks at the rocks all day. If i break up some nori into little pieces he sometimes eats some but also spits out some. The angel hasnt shown interest in the food at all. What should i try? Ive put garlic and entice on the food with no luck?

What were they eating at the place you purchased them from? Are there other fish in your tank that might be stressing them out? What sized tank are they in?

Try Brine Shrimp, I haven't encountered a fish who hasn't eaten that yet.. Dip the frozen brine shrimp in a small cup with your tank water and let it unfreeze. Put a couple of drops of Garlic X-treme (from Kent), let it sit for a couple of minutes and the try that.. Put small portions at a time so that the fish get enticed by the smell of the garlic.. Wish you luck, keep us updated.. Hope you acclimate them properly? I've read that the powder blue is a very finiky eater.. Also remember that sometimes it takes the fish a day or two to start eating healthy.. How long ago did you get them?
