Little dots on my cardinal?

So I was watching my tank and I looked at my pajama cardinal to find these little white dots on his right eye. I have seen ich before and I am pretty sure it is not ich. But the weird thing is that the dots are only on one of his eyes. I've had this fish for at least 8 months and he has never had any dots or anything on him. So right now I'm thinking that its a parasitic infection. So what is this and should I be worried?

Ich does infect fish eyes, also ich is a parasite. It possible that it could be sand or air bubbles. A picture would help.

Ok I'll see if I can get a pic. Its really hard cus hes a fast fish that always moving

No one has any ideas?
Also I looked more closey and it looks more like an erosion rather than dots.

Are you sure it is a spotted cardinal. Mine is the slowest fish you have ever seen. He just floats around even at feede\ing time.

I'm quite sure there's something wrong. His eyes are usually red and they are pretty cloudy now with some erosion on his eyes. Right now he is in a QT tank and he doesn't seem to be getting better from MelaFix so I'm gonna try something for parasites to see if that works.
