I have a question, the research tells me no, but i have seen the opposite, I have two clowns, a hippo tang, an algae blenny, a domino damsel, and an engineer goby, all well over 3.5 inches, I have my heart set on a lion fish, a antennata or a volitan, the research says they'll eat other fish, but i have seen them in a tank with other fish to include a clown and a hippo, I have also heard that it'll eat it if it fits in its mouth. A for True or B for False. bottom line is can i place a lion in my 90 gal with my other lilttle fellers? or flush the idea?

Also I was planning to buy a small size lion to start with, and yes I know they get pretty big.

A, you can as long as the fish are large enough that the Lion can't get them in its mouth. B, eventually the Lion will eat the fish, especially if you get a antennata or a volitan which get large. Also a 90gal tank, which is a good size for a reef tank, is small for a Lion fish.

No, stay away. The fish will be eaten eventually.

Also, besides the fact that it will eat things you should be worrying about having it in your tank and having to stick your hand in with it. Their spines are poisonous. Hand in tank comes in tandem with reef tanks.
