Triggers and reef tanks

Can anyone recommend a trigger to put in a reef tank? Is there such a thing? No shrimp are currently in the tank.

I would say get a Blue Throat Trigger, I love mine and he doesn't even look at all the shrimp in my tank.

Very good point, you need a nice size tank for a trigger. They love to swim

Thanks. Where is the best area to get Blue throats from? is it possible to get a small male? (i.e., 2 to 3 inches)

Any thoughts on the Pink Tails or Black fin or Sargassum (Red Tail) triggers

I would go with a Blue Throat Trigger than, Beautiful fish and not as aggressive as most triggers.

Thanks Lenny. BTW, if I didn't go with a trigger, is there any type of butterfly that could go in a reef? I've heard different opinions on this. Some say Semivartus. Others say longnose butterfly or copperband. Althought I heard the copperbands don't usually last.

i have a pink tale trigger in my reef for over 2 years without a problem.
