can i have more than 1 wrasse in a 46 gallon or are they territorial and may stress the other one out? i have a 6 line but i want to get a mystery wrasse or a melanurus wrasse.

the 6-line and the Mystery will be a problem for sure. The melanuras will probably be fine. Do you have a sand bed for it?

yes i have a sand bed and lots of rock. will the 6 line pick on the mystery wrasse?

its not a good idea to have sixline and mystery together..one will probably be beaten to death..

The closer they are taxonomicly the more likely for aggression, a mystery is gruped with the "lined" wrasses and I've heard 6 lines are devils even though I had one that was a saint but I wudnt risk it, especially with a mystery

The size of the wrasse can play a part in your selection. If your 6-line is aggressive IMO the best thing to do is get a wrasse that is larger than the 6-line. The melanurus wrasse is a good one.
