thanks for sharing your thoughts...

i bought this goby as is from lfs....i know i shoudn't have..but after looking for a neon goby for a couple of weeks..i just had to get it..lol...

at first i dint' think it had ich...just bad skin...cause fish was eating well and acting healthy..and still does. i meant to keep this fish in a drilled container..but it has jumped into the tank and catching this tiny fish is almost impossible...

i recently added a 6 line wrasse..and killed all my cleaner shrimps....:irked:..so i wanted a cleaner fish..

anyway, i hope it's not ich...and skin erosion disappears...

thanks...

I had a pair with ich. I treated with copper and one made it and the other did not. They were covered from head to tail with the stuff. If it is ich you will see raised white specs as if there was salt on the fish. If it is just descolored and nothing raised it probably is just a wound-maybe from the sixline.
I have a sixline and neon but the neon was there first and they have a strange relationship. They both share a spot under a rock. Most of the time they ignore eachother. The neon never tries to clean him but does clean a cardinal. Anyway, every once and a while the sixline chases the neon until the neon gets back under their rock and they just sit next to each other for a few seconds and then both go out about their business as if nothing happened.

The Dragonets are not known to get Ick since they do not possess scales and the parasite cannot attach itself.
