Hi all,

I am in the final stages of cycling and starting to plan out what fish to keep in my 45G FOWLR. The tank is 36 x 12 x 24". I have roughly 45lbs of LR and 20lbs of live sand. I know I want to have a clown fish, a yellow watchman, and maybe a dwarf flame angel. Any suggestions with compatibility in mind would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Everything mentioned so far would get along fine, the angel may be a problem with corals. Fairy wrasses are beautiful fish and maroon clowns are the best looking ones by me but can be a bit nasty, really nothing to worry about unless you have other clowns.

Thanks for the responses. Right now I'm thinking of getting two false perculas, a purple firefish goby, a yellow watchman, and a sixline wrasse. Would this be too much for my tank? Also, any comments on what order they should be introduced to the tank? Thanks!

It wouldn't be to much but people have had problems with six lines and would do anything to just get rid of them. I had one that was a model citizen but its not worth the risk imo, you can get nicer wrasses for a similar price.

edit: For order I would say firefish first because there just so jumpy(literally and figuratively), and if you still want the six line then him last, the others don't matter.

A royal Gramma is very colorfull and not as nasty as a sixline. Firefish only if you have peacefull fish. Lots of different gobies like the neon goby. The chalk bass is also a nice one and you can have a few of them together.
