is it ok to keep these fish together (100 gal)

I am keeping these fish together will they be ok or will I have problems
tomato clown,yellow tang,hippo tang,clown tang,auriga butterflyfish,coral beauty angel and a powder brown tang all are small (2" to 3") thanks for the input John

Also depends on the rock work. Important to remember that if you're thinking about keeping hippo tangs they MUST go in first and be by themselves for at least a week.

If the clown tang lives he'll most likely end up killing everything else in the tank. They're beautiful but very nasty.

Had one sucessfully with many of the same fish he has listed. The trick is to put it in last, that is all.

There are still no guarantees when putting it in last. I heard the same thing about Sohal tangs, but I once added one to a 150 and it killed a bat fish and niger trigger that had been in the tank for well over 6 months. The sohal was the last fish added to that tank, until I removed it. It all depends on the fish and its personality.

^^^ You are correct, no guarantees but I've tried both and have had great sucess.

You always run a risk when mixing tangs, but seeing as the three you have (powder brown-acanthurus, yellow-zebrasoma, blue hippo- paracanthurus) are all in a different genus, you are doing it the best way possible.
