:smash: Thanks for the update, but I recommend fishes based on what they'll become, not what size they are. There are plenty wrasses sold to the hobby at that size that will quickly grow to over 1' long; notably those in the Coris family.
if you are reffering to the flasher's, fairy it really depends. some will be passive and other's not so nice, you can't put any more wrasse's then you think your system can handle or that will over crowd the tank
What type of cover do you have on the tank?
Do you have a sandbed? Have you done any research as to what specific ones you would like to have?
Do you currently have any other fish, if so, what kind?
Do you have a pic showing how much rock is in the tank..that also makes a difference...
And as Dean mentioned, you should never consider fish at their juvenile size, but at their adult size.
I would start out with 3 to 4 (from the "fairy" family) and would keep adding over a period of time until I see a change in "ideal" water parameters then stop. Now... how many do you think I can add to a 400++ gallon tank?
