I tried my hand at it about 3 years ago. Got covered in ich and died in about 3 days. Cost me 100 bucks. Didn't try again. But, you may have better luck. They are beautiful.
They don't do well in swamp tanks lol..... They are like powder blue or brown tangs... Sensitive to Phosphates, nitrates... Newbies... I have killed 1 or 2 in the beginning...
They're really for expert hobbyist even then most don't make it. They require large tank with open space and a lot of water movement. They're very skiddish and can be very aggressive with other tank mates, especially other tangs. They are ich magnets and need to QT before they're place in your main tank.
