Snoflake Eel Eating Flakes

Just curious.

For those who ever had snowflake eels:
Have you ever seen them eat flake food?

Mine has been eating Ocean Nutrition Prime Reef Flake Food.
I figured it was kinda weird but the eel seems to love it. I stopped feeding it silversides. I also eats defrosted mysis and brine shrimp.

Ours only eats silversides. Wish it would eat frozen and dry, but no luck.

I've see Zebra eels eat mackerel favor flakes, which is a good way to get Zebra eels starting to eat.

It's great that it will eat flakes but along with Brine and mysis shrimp it's not enough to keep the eel health or even alive. It needs a much more meaty diet, like fish, shrimp, clams and such.

I stopped feeding it silversides since it smelled funky. I feed my Maroon clown, Potter Angel, and damsels flakes and brine/mysis shrimp and the eel just joins in. It doesnt bother the fish and its been a couple weeks now that its eating flakes. I guess its just a stage the eel is having.
