Bimaculatus Anthias feeding

I just added a beautifual bimac female...my feeding schedule is flakes/small pellets in am (which all prior inhabitants love), then mysis/cyclops in pm. Question is:will anthias eventually take the flake? She didn't take it at all her first morning. Don't want to feed frozen twice a day but don't want her to starve either - thanks

I've had big groups of dispar anthias and im pretty sure they act similar in that when i fed mysis cyclopeeze flakes seaweed, the dispars only went for the mysis and never anything else. I think they are very finicky and will only go for the mysis IMO.

Eventually, they should take flakes and pellets. Try feeding both the dried and frozen at the same time. It helps them associate the unfamiliar feed with the familiar. If they are not feed ing at all, try some Arcti-pods. Anthias seem to love them.

Mine eats cyclopeeze mysis and a seafood mix my lfs makes/sells.Anthias may be finicky but if they find something they like, they eat quite voraciously, a healthy anthias should eat like this.I haven't tried flake though...
