Hello all, I have a 24 Aquapod with a Six line wrasse and a lawn Mower Blenny. They have been established in the tank for about 8 months. Last night I added a Yellow Tail Damsel that I adopted from a friend taking down his tank. Both the sixline wrasse and the lawnmower blenny are attacking the Damsel. I'm unable to recapture the Damsel and i'm concerned about his welfare. Will this behaviour continue til he dies, or will they eventually leave the Damsel alone? Any information or solutions would be appreciated. Thank you

That general opinion i've been getting. Do you think if I can get them both out and into my quaritine tank for a week and then re-introduce them into the aquapod at the same time they might behave?

That was my original concern. My friend had the yellow tail in a 45 gallon tank by himself, because he kept beating everyone to death. He gave up on adding fish then finally took down his tank. I quarintined him for a month then added him last night. I was worried he would attack the other fish but to my supprise the wrasse and blenny double teamed him.

Sixlines, either you hate them or you love them. Personally, I love them. Ive had one in every single tank I have had since I got into the hobby 16 years ago. The one thing I have learned through experience: Add them last to a tank because anything added after them will definitely get harassed (with the exception of show size fish and even then there is a chance they will harass them too). I think they all have the "little guy complex" where they feel like they have to prove themselves to be tough because of their size no matter who is around. Kinda like chiguaguas. :fight2:

I have removed both the Six line wrasse and the yellow tail damsel and put them both in the 20 gallon quarintine tank. As of now they've remained in neutral corners. The aquascape in the aquapod has been reconfigured. I'm going to leave them in the other tank for a week or two and see what happens when i re-introduce them into the aquapod.

oddly enough my pair and my royal gramma get along great. No aggression, no fighting, no nothing. Maybe those fish just have a bond:lol2:

I can't understand for the life of me why people find this fish attractive and then buy it after repeated posts on MR where people say how psychotic they are. It's the ultimate "Ha-wrasser". Whoever doesn't research what they are thinking of buying has whatever is coming to them:biglaugh:

The alien abduction worked. During the hunt to catch the yellow tail and the sixline I had to take out all the rocks. Inherently the rock scaping is different. I kept the two of them in the quarintine tank for a couple of weeks. Reintoduced them to the algea blenny in the aquapod with rearranged real estate; for 10 days and counting they look like little friends playing.:inlove:

Truth be told, they'll need to form an alliance to survive. There is something in the tank that is taking out my livestock. Don't know what it could be. The tank has been established for a year; no new rock added, never had a problem before all of a sudden my starfish died from a chunk taken out of him, last night our cleaner shrimp insides went MIA. First we saw his molted shell then we saw his new exo skeleton in pieces around the tank; no guts.:frown::sad2:Just when you think you have your world in harmony, an some ones evolution screws it all up on you.
