I have a 10g qt tank with!
A heater! sm power head! Also a little bs filter, and air stone!
Im not going to put a skimmer that will take the meds out right?
Garlic juice that i made with 10 oz of ro water and 3 large cloves of garlic just to put on the food!
And a ick treatment (copper base pellets) i forgot the name i got it from petland for $9 bucks!
Is that all i need?
Should i just use the garlic in the food first for a few days to see what happends and if i do that do i even need to take him out of the main tank to use just the garlic with the food?
If the garlic is to strong will it be bad for the corals sps lps softys?

Also is there anything i need todo before i treat with copper?

im just so mad a 50$ fish is going to take out over a 100$ more of fish. i just hope i can get my hippo and naso well again!!!!!!
All feedback is helpfull!!!!

First what copper did you get? It's also important that you get a copper that you can measure with a test kit.

As mentioned above depending on the size of the Tangs a 10gal tank maybe too small for them and you may have been better off with a large rubbermaid type container.

See all posts above & please take Ray (bikinisalt) up on his offer.
It is very important to be sure you have the proper level of copper in the QT tank as it is ineffective if not dosed at the right level!

Please list all of your fish.
If there is any carbon in the little filter..please take it out as it will remove the medication from the QT.
It won't hurt to add the garlic to the food you feed in the QT. Garlic doesn't cure ich, but may help entice the the fish to continue eating.
