question about spotty fish

ok well heres the situation...

last year i set up a 50 gallon for my mom. she ran into a problem with ick. her local pet shop gave her copper to put in the tank. i was very upset that the gave her this. well everything died except her hippo, bi color. after a few months these fish are loosing color. getting very patchy. ive done numerous water changes for her. changed their diet. but they seem to be getting worst. can i still save these little guys or is it too late. o and weird thing she has a clown fish and its perfectly fine. all fish eat like pigs. any help i would appreciate. thank you!

try adding selcon n vita enriched frozen food. if they r eating good, u have a chance.

I ran into the same situation when I first started this hobby. Just feed them vitamin and garlic enriched foods; that should color them up.
