Today I added 2 yellow clown gobies to my tank as soon as they hit the water my 2 Ocellaris Clownfish left the bta and started bumping and pushing them. they wont leave them alone they keep checking them out going back to the bta, Is this the first sign that thy are going to kill them i have had 2 green gobies for a long time and it is like they are not there to the clown fish but the yellow ones caused a up raw. I would like to keep them in the tank but dont want to see them die i can put them in another tank it will be a PIA to get them out. or will the clown leave them alone in a day or so??

thanks:Hydrogen:

I never seen a clown fish bother a clown goby before. They don't look anything alike so I would say you should be fine. I'm guessing the clown gobies were too close to the clownfish home so they're just being defensive

IMO
if your clowns are planning to spawn, they will bang up your newbe fish until they keep the right distance away from spawn area. What that is??? If they bang them up for more than a day or so i would take them out because the fighting will stress all the residents in the tank.
