Hi all --
so last night i noticed that something was hanging off my maroon clown. seems to be about the size of a pencil point, looks white in color. can't get a pic b/c the fish only will face me head-on - won't show me his side.
it is still there a day later (nearly a day later)
looks to be maybe the shape of a fish scale - i have done no research on it, but i think i remember that there are some parasites that do this - attach to the skin of a fish and bore inside? He's not flicking or rubbing against anything at this point, and otherwise seems totally unfazed.
any clues, and advice?
Thanks!
it's a maroon clown, maybe 8 years old, king of the tank...
