I was cleaning my filter socks last night and, in addition to lots of pods, I found little orange eggs in one of them. This is the first spawn I've ever had in my reef, so for me it's a pretty cool thing.
I'm wondering, who laid the eggs? I have 3 potential couples that could be responsible for the spawn. In order of highest to lowest suspicion: Ocellaris Clowns, Blue Neon Gobies, Blue Mandarins. If it's the Clowns, their eggs are sticky and deposited on rocks so why they have be swept into the overflow? Their anemone resides in a little cave and not near any direct current.
