Im not sure it is or not... But for the longes time my Blue Hippo once in a while would get a single white spot on its dorsal fin. Then it would be gone. Now he is getting white spots on it. Is Ich smooth? Or can it appear as almost pimples that are white. But my real question is. When I turn on my lights there are alot of spots, then they go away during the day. Then the next day the same. Now there is a larger spot of white dots that have not gone away during the day. but hte smaller ones did.

Any Ideas and recommendations?

Fish is in a 175 bow LR and some corals.
Friends in the tank are a tomato clown
Goby
Royal Gramma
Mandarin
3 Domino Damsels.

Not one other fish is showing ANY sign of anything. I know that Tangs get ich faster and easier than other fish.

I am going to try to get some pics. but he is camera shy. My current camers SUCKS And my new dSLR is coming on Tues.

Sounds like it could be but without a pic can't be sure. Does it look like someone poured salt on the tang? If so then it is probably Ich.

Possible, but difficult to say without pics.

I know sometimes when fish are first "waking up" in the morning, they will have paler colors and even have a splotchiness to them. This can also happen when they are stressed. Are any of the domino damsels picking on your tang? I know they can be aggressive.

My camera really bites the big one. Pic blurs when i try to take. New Camera coming tomorrow (i hope). I will take some pics. Just weird that it goes away during the day and comes out at night when the lights are on.

NO dominos are not picking on it at all, he swims peacefully around he tank.
