Since I gotten my Powder blue tang i have noticed that it is kind of thin. It is a frantic swimmer but you can see all its bones basically. I thought that it would change later on but seems to be the same i am feeding it as my other tangs seaweed, and other types of frozen food. But i am concern that it might be unhealthy? What should i do?

Frantic swimming is definitely a bad sign, especially for tangs. It might be that your other tangs are harrasing it. Have you considered a quaranting tank in a quiet spot. I'm not sure about medicating a fish that you don't know exactly what the problem is. Perhaps Marrone would have a better answer. I would definitely start off with QT. Shoot Dr.Marrone a pm, he does respond.

It's your tank levels I had that prob in the begining of my of my 10+ years PBT's are very sensitive to high phosphates... If you have a reef tank then He'll come through becase it's just stressed. They take, in good water conditions a couple of days to come around, unless your have some hearty feeding tangs like brev... or vlami.. in you system..I would raise the temp its a fowler.. Just a little though..

I don't know if I'd peg that on high nutrients. You may have just bought a bad fish. When you say "Since I got my PDT..." How long ago was that? Do the other two tangs bother him? Is he swimming back and forth and back and forth across the tank? Or is it more of a shimmy?
