I have a 150g saltwater tank with 110#LR, 3ft sump, skimmer, and fish are honeycomb grouper, male bird wrasse, blonde naso tang, snowflake eel, and niger triggerfish. Is my tank overstocked?
I would need to know the lengths of all those fish as well. As a fish's length increases linearily (1" to 2" to 3", etc.) its mass goes up by the cube, so a fish that is a few inches longer may require twice or three times as much room. Also - at some point, the grouper is going to be able to eat the bird wrasse....
