i found my goby eel on the floor in the morning

i found my eel on my floor in the morning and i have no idea when he jumped out , so i about to throw him out and he starts moving so i threw him back in the tank. now my question is what kind of infection can he bring to my tank after being on my kitchen floor ????????

did he feel dry when u picked him up? was there a water splash pattern around him? if yes then maybe he had just jumped out. keep an eye out for him an good luck

You might want to head to Home Depot and look in the lighting section for a sheet of egg crate plastic and use it to cover the top of the tank.
