Hello I thought if anyone would know, you guys would. I'm looking for two fish both on the larger size of their max size. The two I'm looking for is a Interuptus angel and a Wrought Iron Butterfly fish. Any suggestions? Thanks Tim

Best bet would be to talk to Country Critters which I assume is not so far from you. Jeremy can get a lot of oddballs. FWIW they won't be small ones like that picture most likely though :(

I'd not suggest you to buy any interrupta in larger size as you mentioned, it is the largest of the Centropyge family and I saw many of them arriving in large size and not doing well.

CC's prices aren't that bad if you talk to Jon a little. He's definitely workable anytime i felt something was out of whack.

As for the fish, all the tiny Interruptus usually stay in Japan. Unless you have a tank that's kept 70-73 I would stay away from the Wroughts. They are usually 5-6" and now is the season for them. There's also been problems with the eyes on the Wroughts. It seems like they are trawled some of the time, since they are not allowed to dive with nets.

EZ-Marines Taiwan has some adult fish pictured on their web page.

I have four temperate Japanese exhibits at our facility and have always passed on those two fish - the wrought irons because of their cost -fully ten times the cost of a sacura anthias, and the interuptus because they can't handle the cooler temps that we keep our exhibit at.
