Finally got my Rostratum, Gems on Ebay

Well after looking high and low for Rostratum that was ridiculously priced my friend in Hawaii got one for me. Well here she is. Thought I would share. Not the rarest fish but hard to come by. On the other hand did you see the Gem's on Ebay?????? Why are they so expensive?? Regards, Tim

Yes the Black Tang is from Christmas. I also have a juvi Christmas Emperor that is just starting to change to his mature colors. New pics of the Black and my Emp Changing. Does anyone know of people keeping an emperor with a Conspic? I'm getting one in about 6 weeks. Does anyone know of anyone who has a specific tank dedicated to a certain area? I.E. a strictly Christmas Island or better yet imagine a Clipperton Island specific fish tank? Regards, Tim

There's another thread in this forum on those gem tangs. That price is actually "standard" market price for them since they're logistically difficult (thus rare) to get into the US market.
