Thinking of switching one of my tanks over to a fish only.(180 gal) Maybe a couple fish as in a angel and a tang. I'm thinking of a very small amount of white sand, maybe 1/2 to 1" deep. What do you think is best on how to keep this looking really nice and white with the lowest amount of work?
thanks to all!

cheers

nassau snails. they like to burrow in it and keep it stirred up. I have 4 in my 75g and my sand always looks nice. And when you feed the come up out of the sand like little zombies... :)

Thanks, I do have about ten of them (probably not nearly enough) I've also a starfish that lives in the sand. (couple yrs. now) I did add two sifter gobies and they seem to be doing a good job so far. Just not sure if a 180 not deep sandbed is enough to keep both alive..but we'll see how it goes.
