I just got this guy to patrol my frag tank while I was in Chicago - here he is acclimating...

L. susumi - pretty awesome fish. Hopefully I'll see it more than the L. swalesi in my main tank...

Yes, but apparently not recently. I've just heard of someone seeing one, but I trust the perosn.

I will let you know if i am fruitful in my endeavor :) Might have to collect them myself from what I'm finding out, but I might have a partner in that regard.

They're awesome. I used to have one. He ate a few of those Parvulus cardinals...I want to get another, but I'm waiting for some Gramma linki to get at the same time.

Neat fish. I hear you on the L. swalesi. I had one in my 300 gallon system for a few years and saw him maybe once a month tops. I recently broke the tank down and gave him to my favorite LFS for their display tank.

After reading this thread and seeing the cool fish, I couldn't resist and had to register to show off mine.

I've had him for almost six months now. He is not shy at all! Definately my show fish!

His name is Hotshot.

His tank mates are a Tomini tang, Wetmorella wrasse, Helfrichi's firefish pair and some mystery goby that came with an Acro colony.

This next guy is not a Liproproma, but he is actually my favorite fish...when I get to see him. He is in his own 2 gallon ADA tank.

His name is Little Dude.

Wow! Nice Carmabi! I've seen one in person, and they are killer.

I have a Tomini & Wetmorella too with the Swalesi, the Tomini is useless. I wanna out him and put a Mag. Fox but I can't find a small one...

May I ask where you got him, what you paid? I know these are the most expensive usually.

The Discordipinna is neat too. There's not enough Goby love.

Here's L. multilineatum acclimating.

Kudos to LiveAquaria for a great packing job on the fish. Wish I could say the same for the acro I got from them...

Thanks for the compliments. I special ordered the fish through the shop that I manage. (AquaTouch...in Phoenix.)

He definately was not cheap...(retailed for around 800$)...However, I just am not intrigued with royal grammas and yellow tangs anymore!

Nice multilineatum...I had one of those for a couple of years a while back. He was a magnitude more cryptic than the carmabi. Hardly ever saw him "just out in the open".

I love my Tomini...he never tires of rasping substrate. However he has an odd relationship with my wetmorella. When they are side by side, everything is cool. When he sees him from across the tank, he darts to the other end to chase him into the rocks. Never with outright aggression, but more like a dominance thing. I don't know...reminds me of the dynamics of "love".

Len-

I agree...Just wish there was a greater availability on some of the less common ones.
