Does anybody else keep dwarfs ? These guys are alot of fun, and not that hard to care for. This is the reason I got into the under 5g set. There are actually a bunch of things You can keep with them and they basicly live in a fuge. Heres some pics, if anybody else keeps them post some pics. I'd love to see them !!

I did a couple years back. They do not live long, usually about 18 months. They usually have fry if you have male and females and the fry eat the same things the adults do. Most people feed them newly hatched brine shrimp because they only eat live stuff and brine shrimp only has nutrients for the first 6 hours after hatching. Which means you have to have a constant supply of new hatchings which makes them not easy to care for. If your fuge provides enough pods then maybe you have indeed an easy go of it. There is a site that has a forum for these dwarfs and it has lots of info there. http://forum.seahorse.org/

easy to care for ??

You are right my oldest lived about 22 months,I grow pods I don't have time for the brine if You notice My sys. is basicly a fuge the macro and LR give the pods a great breeding ground. every once in awhile I buy brine and feed them fish food for a couple of days and feed them as a treat, but I don't actually feed them on a regular basis they live off the pods in the system. A good batch of pods and a healthy environment they'll never run out of food. I also have a Rhino blenny in ther with them. He's very camera shy
