No sick fish medication(ick)

Just finished treating a hippo tang with this med. He was in very bad shape but still eating. The tank he was a 30 gal. and had lr ,some sps frags, a clam,hermits and snails.The med. didn`t bother anyone. I heard that it works better in small tanks. Just a note the fish were bought about a month ago so another instance where qt definatly helped. The sight is www.nosickfish.com Tim......

HI I used this for one week still lost two fish. I then removed all live rock etc. , then went to copper. I called the place before my order and they told me they had an 80% ratio it will cure ich. I guess I fell in the 20% rate.

Well tommorrow makes a week and i can only say that my ick got worse after starting treatment. A few of my fish have had ick for months. Nothing major but a few spots here and there. Now after treatment every fish is infested with ick and 3 have died in the last 2 days. Im beginning to think i should have left all alone. Not a good situation............. Very heartbreaking

Sorry to hear this. What size tank are you using it in? have you noticed any improvement at all? Keep dosing, I went for about 10 days with it. Good luck I hope things turn around. Feed them with garlic also...

I started feeding garlic 2 days ago when i realized the ick exploded. Im treating a total water volume of around 175 gallons. 2 tanks and a common sump. there has been no improvement it just gets worse by the day. I just sent the company an email stating my dis-satisfaction with there product. I know Warren had tried this and was in contact with the company but we have both decided that were going to go into the ick business putting pee in a bottle and charging 55 bucks LOL I honestly feel that somehow this product sped up the outbreak. Ive had ick in my tank on 2 fish for 2 months and now after i start to cure it it explodes? Kinda ironic IMO. Even the cleaner wrasse has ick..........

I heard that it does not do well in big tanks. I treated a 30 gal. and had good results.Did you shut down your skimmer and take out any carbon that you had running?

Yes i did Tim no skimmer, phosban or carbon.To my surprize i got a call today from Tyler. He told me the medication is doing what its supposed to do, making all the dormant ick hatch so it can be killed. He advised me to up my dosage slightly and to let him know how i was progressing. We went over everything and so far im on track. I guess we will all know more in the next few days. With the way the ick just exploded his explanantion makes some sense. We shall see......
