Hi

Im in the process of doing research for my future tank. It will be 100 gallons or a little more with LR and DSB and a sump/refugium. This is a list of the fish Im considering:

Yellow-headed Jawfish
Two Maroon Clowns
Green Madarine (If conditions and pod population are right)

Im at a loss for anymore fish Ideas. I think I would like a school of dithering fish. Can anyone give any suggestions of nice compatable fish they enjoy. Also what kinds of dithering fish are there? I know only of the Chromis.

Yellow tangs seem like an unlikely dithering choice, but as far as I've heard, they swim around the tank all day, looking for greens and not as aware of danger as the other fish are (my LFS calls them 'dopey' because they swim around all day looking for food!). They are colorful and should go nicely in a 100 gal. Good luck!!! :D

:) HEIJOL,
DONT GET OUT MUCH? THE YELLOW HEADS WILL HIDE ALOT UNDER COVER. THE TWO MAROON CLOWNS SHOULD BE A MATING PAIR OR THEY WILL PROBABLY KILL EACH OTHER! THE GREEN MADARINE WILL BE HARD TO FEED. WITH A 100 GAL. YOU CAN DO SO MUCH MORE! HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE WRASSE FAMILY OR THE TANG FAMILY, THESE TWO COMBOS ARE A GREAT VISUAL FOR A TANK. THERE IS ALWAYS MOVEMENT IN THE TANK AND REALLY GOOD INTERACTION BETWEEN THE TWO FAMILIES. YOU CAN PROBABLY GET AWAY WITH 10 TO 15 FISH IN THE 100 GAL. GOOD LUCK AND STAY WARM!
