Hey everyone anyone around here keeping any scopionfish specifically R. frondsa? I currently have a 7" Purple Rhinopias frondsa.

Thanks! Just got it a few weeks ago fresh out of Bali. Came in great ate 3 chromis within the first 24 hours now I have him on a steady diet of 6-10 Chromis or Damsels a week.

Its an awesome fish to own. Truly has a personality. I feed him two times a week. Personal preference really.

I have not noticed anything sting him yet. He has a few euphillia in his tank but prefers to sit atop a few purple cabbage corals.

Nice eschymeri! Im going to probably stick to feeding mine live. I like the idea of him eating fish native to where he is from. How long have you had yours for? Any tips on long term care. Ive only had mine a few weeks.

What size tank does it need?

Alot of people reccomend a smaller sized tank as most only take live food so it is easier for it to get to it as they are ambush predators and sit in one spot most of the day. I have mine in a 40 and he stays in the same 1/3 of the tank 90% of the time.
