This sux I just spent the last $15 I had yesterday, my wifes is going to be upset when she wakes up........if it wasnt for bad luck id have no luck at all

Give him a chance, try to feed him food with vitamins and or garlic that should help with fin regeneration also cover up those powerheads.

If you have any of that veil material use that. if not I think they said you can get it at any arts and crafts store. What kind of powerhead is it?

noob, sorry to hear about your little buddy. Lessons learned are still good lessons. You probably fixed the problem and should be good to go now.

BTW, your wife must work in retail (BBB maybe?)

She's into all types of crafts and stuff and she actually cut it from her wedding vale because she didnt have anymore of that material!, she got into the tank very heavily lately and didnt want anything else to get hurt she cut it to shape and attached it with a zip tie AND sand down the ends of the zip tie slack in case "any of the fish got close and cut themselves".

Lesson at a horrible cost IMO, some says it's only a fish but i feel different. I just hate seeing animals suffer. At least it wont happen in the future.

Thanks for the help all!

Where can I get something to cover the intake suction on my two Aquaclear 70 PHs? I have lost many snails and occasional fish and starfish over the years. I guess I am looking for a sponge or screen-type material. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, David

Noob, your wife rocks!!!

I got her a new Clown Fish and he's very happy, eats like a slob. My wife (a new star wars fan) has named the fish Luke so I said to her "HAHA are you that much of a star wars geek now?" and she replied "No, he's the clown fish's last hope. If he dies thats the last clown fish!"

If you know Star wars you'll get the joke lol. My wife put the tuel over the intake but I think it would be safer if I picked up the sponge from Mike.

Noob? NEW Star Wars fan?????????? My head hurts just thinking about that, I am glad she has found the greatest achievement ever created in the history of cinema, but why so late? Was she not allowed to go out as a child?

You want trivia? I got some trivia for you!

What was the callsign of the stormtrooper assigned to secure the falcon on the death star?
