I don't see too many posts on these fish, guess because they aren't reef safe. Anyone kept them, live aquaria has them listed care level as "easy". tank is a 150 cube and I would like to know if keeping 3 would be an issue

thank in advance for replies

There are two different types one is reef safe and one isn't. I believe the only way to tell is a marking on their pectoral fin. But from my experience its very hard to tell the difference. They should be ok in a fowlr tank but angelfish, puffers and triggers ect may nip at their long fins. Aside from that they are easy.

Easy fish to keep, can be aggressive towards the smallest of it's kind. Juvenile act as cleaner fish. They grow fast and Damsels tend to pick on the D fin.

Your angel may go after them. My Emperor went after mine. I don't think you should get three. Two or one or none at all...

Prattreef tanks are large. I had four in a 120 than ended up with two and had to get rid of them. If you don't have a 120 + don't get three. They grow fast.

I have the reef safe one from Hawaii and I had two but one jumped out. Super great fish. Super active and not very aggressive. Loves to eat and never touches corals

Beautiful fishes. I started out with 3 the size of a quarter in my 65g. I didn't know what they were back then and didn't know that they grew so quickly. The 3 became 2 and the remaining 2 grew to about 6" in less than 8 months. They were not reef safe and picked on palys and zoas endlessly.

I have 2 of these guy in a fish only. 1 is about 1ft tall and looks really cool. Eats anything. Would not trust him in a reef. If you look at the mouth parts on these guys they are designed to nip at coral. Its my opinion that any fish designed to eat something could eventually eat it.
