Hello all,

I am new to the reef hobby and am curious about what types of fish I can put in my tank. I have a 57g rimless with built in sump, using the refuigium set up in the sump. Keep temp around 79-80 degrees, and have 44lbs of live rock. I currently have a few blue angel damsels, scopas tang, blue hippo tang, and two clowns along with a snail. Been wanting to add a few new fish in the next few weeks but don't know what to add. Any recommendations?
Thanks.

How big are your tangs?
Might need to relocate them to larger setup as they grow. You can add some sort of goby, blenny, cardinal fish, dotty back, doesn't sound like you have much inverts so a hawkfish could work too. Lots of options, depends really on your taste/interest
I would suggest a wrasse but they can jump out of rimless tank so not best option, although any fish can jump some are more prone to do so than others.

My tangs are babies.. 2-3 inches max. I have a snail in there now and was thinking about adding other inverts as well. Just trying to gather some options right now. Was thinking some sort of wrasse as well but im not sure.

I will look into something to fill the bottom of the tank such as a goby or blenny. I think dwarf lions are pretty cool.

Maybe look for aurora goby ,dragon goby, or jawfish also cool they would burrow the sand and have his little house you could see them working really hard and thats cool to watch...
For inverts maybe you can browse for harlequin shrimps, fire shrimp , banded shrimp , or go with crabs like halloween crab, pompom crab, arrow crab , those guys are cool i think
