can more than one pgymy angels stay in one tank? or will there be agression issues? thanks

It depends on the angel and the size of the tank. Some can be mixed without a problem other are very aggressive and should be housed alone. In a smaller tank it general better to keep just one.

In a tank that size, with a good amount of rock, you would probably be fine but once again it does matter which ones your choose. Some are more aggressive than others.

Since the tank is large, 125gal, what would also work is a pygmy angel and a larger angel, like a Koran or Emperer. Usually there aren't any problem, or less problems, mixing the larger angels and pygmy angels together.

Ive kept two pygmy angels several different times during my years in the hobby, a flame angel and a coral beauty. One time in a 55 and two other times in 75gl tanks.

I think what has worked for me has been the way I set up the rockwork. Ive always liked the look of two rock forms. This has allowed each angel their own area. Not only that, but since I always keep my rock away from the back glass they have a figure 8 area to swim around. For the most part theyve kept to themselves.

The only time I had a problem was when I started messing with my tank late one night. I was too tired to continue so I just threw all of my liverock in the tank without arranging them. The next day, around noon, I looked into my tank when the lights turned on and found my coral beauty in my overflow box with the flame angel circling around it. He was pretty beat up. I qted him and 3 weeks later redid the rockwork, reintroduced both anels and they were back to normal.

I have heard of people doing this...you might be able to pull it off in a 125g. the thing is once they start to go at it, they fight pretty brutal battles.
