I used to have one and fed it live black worms, its the only thing it would eat. for some reason it would go crazy when it saw them hit the water. Totally by passed pellets/ mysis.:scratchch

Mine eats Mysis and Aptasia and I am sure pods because it picks at rock all day.

It took weeks to witness it actually eating and I think it was only stimulated by full acclimation and aptasia.

I've had mine for about 6+ months now. When I first got it, it would only pick at the spegetti worms all over my tank. I also have a deep sand bed so it helps for the spegetti worms.
Over time, it slowly weaned from spegetti worms to mysis, but they will also go for live blackworms as well until you wean them onto mysis.

Mine just started eating frozen mysis shrimp... But it seems healthy, so must be eating something, considering he wiped out hundreds of aptasia and has been without any for at least three weeks!
