Hello all. I am having some difficulty identifying this "disease" on my newly acquired female watanabei angel. I have pictures attached showing the "fin rot" but am unsure that it is definitely that and how to treat a fish that is hiding and not eating (ie. quarantine, special medication in the reef DT etc...)
If you could help me out that would be awesome.

from the pics it's hard to tell if it's a fungus, bacteral or what, but my main concern is not eating....a fish that hides and refuses to eat is a bad sign. I would tempt it with whatever foods you can to get it to start eating. I find that most fish as long as they are eating are able to build up their immune systems and fight off most diseases...hopefully one of MR's fish breeders with more disease knowledge will chime in...GL
