I have a pair of true percula clownfish and a newly added rose bubble tip anemone, the clownfish have been ignoring the RBTA for a few days and don't even bother to go near it. Any ideas on how to make them more fascinated by the anemone?

Play some Barry White, serve them chocolate dipped strawberries, a bottle of Dom P and you should be all set. j/k, it sounds as if you've set the stage appropriately. Now you need to sit back and let nature take its course.

i added an anemone and within half a day my clown began to host. Now you can't move him from it.lol. There are many ways to approach but what worked for me is just put it in the general area that they sleep in or have made home. i put mine right outside my clowns cave next to a rock. he dug out the sand around it and sank into it like i bean bag chair. hope this helps, keep us posted.

Wow that's great, the only problem is, is that my clownfish sleep on the top corner of the tank where no rock is near. I am thinking of trying the "picture" technique but I feel that that won't work.

I know it sounds silly, but the picture method works. I had a Rbta and clowns in the same tank and they paid no mind to it. I taped the picture on the front glass and I would see the clowns swimming up to it. and within a week they started to play in it and then they started sleeping in it.

Thank you!!! It actually seems to be working, I put the pictures up and in a matter of hours they started to get close to it. Not in it yet, but progress has been made as the clownfish stay close to the rock that the anemone it on. Hopefully soon they host.

Keep us updated. I waited for months and then gave up. One day I moved some rock around in my 75 and the clownfish ended up swimming by the nem for a while. They sayed around the rock and the next day they were inseparable.
